Allowing File Attachments in Ticket Uploads

uCare allows you to set restrictions on file types that can be uploaded in a ticket. By default, uCare allows images and a few basic file types such as Text files to be uploaded. We understand however though that many businesses need to support various file types, and for that, we have an option in the plugin that allows you to set the Mime types of files that you want to allow agents and customers to upload.
In the uCare plugin settings page, under General – File MIME types, you can enter all the types you want to support, separated by a comma.
Here are some of the most commonly used file types as well as their corresponding MIME types:
- Word Docs: application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document,application/msword
- Zip Files: application/zip
- PDF Files: application/pdf
